The King of the Barnyard Watercolor Painting
While working on a new rooster painting I thought of King of the Barnyard: A rooster with Attitude! Makes me giggle every time I see this boastful little beast. I created him especially for a gallery showing of Fantasy Animals featuring the work of my young students. I have painted a few other critters who hang out with the King. The King, or his retinue, would add a touch of the “light fantastic” to a kitchen, bedroom, dining room, or even a family room. Please take a minute to view the King of the Barnyard and his companions.

I am a rooster lover and in fact have a real, pet rooster JoJo that comes running when I drive in so I can pick him up and snuggle (I do live in Asheville, lol). He also starred in a short film!
I saw King of the Barnyard and just had to have him!! I ordered him tonight. He is fabulous. My plan is to put him above my stove with some black gloss tiles as a frame. I am super excited to get him. I would love it if you were also able to sign the piece.
